by Eleanor Lawrie on Jan 07, 2014 at 13:04
Legal & General Investment Management has hired BNP Paribas' multi-asset research head in a double hire swoop on the firm.
Willem Klijnstra and Chris Jeffery will work on tactical asset allocation research and strategy when they join the firm in March.
Both previously worked on the multi-asset solutions team at BNP Paribas, where Klijnstra was head of research and acting chief investment officer and Jeffery was a senior tactical asset allocation strategist.
'These hires continue to build on the market-leading global macroeconomic and strategic expertise within LGIM’s Asset Allocation team,' Emiel van den Heiligenberg, head of asset allocation at LGIM, said.
'Willem and Chris will join the team that develops themes and ideas that are central to our macro driven investment process.'
