Lansdown joins Hargreaves on billionaires' list

Hargreaves Lansdown founder Stephen Lansdown has joined business partner Peter Hargreaves on Forbes list of billionaires.
Lansdown (pictured) set up the Bristol-based firm with Hargreaves in 1981, stepping down in November last year.
He has benefitted from a 67% rise in Hargreaves Lansdown share prices in the last year.
Forbes rates his fortune at $1.5 billion.

I don't know how the figures break down but it would appear that his fortune has been made on the back of dumb investors churning their shares ?

This "dumb" investor has made 93% return on his saving/investments with HL over the past 3 years.....5% on Feb alone.
