Liontrust has bumped up its exposure to Brooks Macdonald.
Chris Macdonald's investment firm has long proved a favourite pick among fund managers, and Liontrust has decided to increase its holding, taking it above the 12% reporting threshold.
Previously, John Ions' Liontrust owned 1,531,034 shares across a spread of its funds and now owns 1,657,118 shares.
Among the top name managers to have bought into Brooks over the years are Charles Montanaro and former Wealth Manager cover star Giles Hargreave.
At Liontrust, holders of the stock include Anthony Cross, who holds Brooks in his Liontrust UK Growth and Liontrust Smaller Companies funds.
According to records dated 23 October, the Liontrust funds held 2.6% and 3% of Brooks, respectively.
