Liontrust unveils institutional share classes on Luthman & Bailey funds

Liontrust has announced its plan to offer institutional share classes on Jan Luthman, Stephen Bailey and Jamie Clark's funds.

The asset manager, which recently edged towards its closest point to profit, said it had seen strong demand from discretionaries and advisers and hoped to offer institutional share classes for the CF Liontrust Macro Equity Income and CF Liontrust Macro UK Growth funds.

The new share classes, which will have an annual management charge of 0.75%, will be launched on 8 October, subject to regulatory approval.

The two vehicles are managed in accordance with Liontrust's successful macro-thematic investment process, which has seen the UK Growth and Equity Income funds hold first decile spots within their respective sectors since launch to the end of July 2012.
