About Alan Borrows

Alan began his investment career as an Investment Assistant at Merseyside County Council in 1980, rising to the position of Senior Investment Manager in 1987. Alan was also involved in the development of the private equity programme at Merseyside Pension Fund. Alan jointly founded Miton Capital Partners Limited (formerly Midas Capital Partners Limited) in 2002. Borrows adopts a top down, value approach to portfolio construction for his CF Miton Distribution fund, complimenting the equity element with an array of fixed interest, property, structured products and alternative investments. Away from the office he enjoys football, walking and relaxing with his family.
