About Andrew Dalrymple
Andrew Dalrymple began his investment career at Cazenove & Co in 1984 where he focused on Asian equities. Spells with James Capel & Co in the UK and James Capel (Asia) Ltd in Hong Kong, and a six year stint at SG Warburg as an institutional broker covering the Asian markets followed before he joined the Stewart Ivory Private Client department in 1998. He subsequently became a member of First State’s global investment team and managed the Global Opportunities fund for seven years, from its inception in August 1999. He founded Aubrey Capital Management in 2006, where he now runs the S&W Aubrey Global Conviction fund. An Economics graduate from Cambridge University, Dalrymple served in the British Army between 1981-84.
