About Gary Greenberg

Gary Greenberg is Head of Emerging Markets at Hermes Investment Management having joined the company in September 2010. He started out as an analyst at Harris Associates in 1989. From 1994 to 1998 he was Chief Investment Officer at Peregrine Asset Management and then spent a year as MD at Van Eck Global. Between 1999 and 2002 he was at Goldman Sachs and served as Co-head of Emerging Markets. In July 2002, Gary became Partner and CIO at Muse Capital and moved to Silkstone Capital in 2007 prior to joining Hermes. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School (Arizona, USA) and earned a BA in Comparative Religion from Carleton College in Minnesota. Gary is also a CFA Charterholder. Away from the office, he enjoys tennis, bridge, music and the cinema and theatre.
