About Giles Gilbertson

Giles joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in November 2011 as Head of Multi-Manager. Before joining Columbia Threadneedle Giles founded a consultancy specialising in investment manager research in 2010. Giles' first investment role was with Alliot Bullimore Chartered Accountants as Audit & Trust Manager in 1987. He joined JL Investment Management in 1992 as Investment Manager before moving to Standard & Poor's in 1996 where he worked first as a Research Director for Fund Research in London and then as a Research Director for Fund Services in New York. He joined IMS as Investment Director in 2001 and became Chief Investment Officer in 2006.He continued in this role after the acquisition by BNP Paribas in April 2008.
