James Macpherson has a BA honours degree in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford University. He started out as a graduate at the UK Asset Allocation Group. He is now managing director and a portfolio manager at BlacRock, and is also head of the UK equity team. James manages the BlackRock UK Equity and BGF United Kingdon funds.
