About Jeremy Hall

Japan expert Jeremy Hall earned an MA in history from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge in 1993, and followed this with a Japanese Language Course at the St. Catherine’s College, Oxford, Kobe Institute. Hall started his career in finance as a graduate trainee at Hill Samuel Bank in 1995, moving on to manage funds at Henderson Global Investors a year later. In 1999 the group named him representative director of Henderson Global Investors (Japan) KK. Hall now takes charge of the Luxembourg domiciled Henderson HF Japanese Equity fund along with director of Japanese Equities William Garnett. Hall is a water sports fanatic who counts sailing, windsurfing and diving as his major escapes from the rigours of investment management.
