About Marina Bond

Born in 1976 in Winchester, Marina Bond attended Durham University where she gained a degree in Philosophy and Archaeology. Further to this she has studied a diploma for the Securities Institute and subsequently became a member of it. Bond has been a fund manager since 2003 after assuming management of the Rathbone Smaller Companies fund. Using a bottom up style she invests predominantly in companies with a market capitalisation of £500m or below. Bond enjoys exploring countries of the beaten track and has recently undertaken challenging solo backpacking trips around South Korea and Kyrgyzstan.
