About Nick Barnes

Holder of a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, Nick Barnes worked for Baring Asset Management until 2001, where he was a member of the emerging markets equities team. He moved to Thames River Capital in May 2001, where he now manages the Global Emerging Markets fund alongside Martin Taylor. A common feature of his investment approach is seeking to identify pricing inefficiencies resulting from inaccurate consensus forecasts at country and company level.
