About Paul Griffiths
Fixed income investor Paul Griffiths has over 14 years' experience in the industry. Born in Cheltenham in 1967, Griffiths gained a BSc in Physics from York University in 1989. Shortly afterwards he joined the Royal Bank of Canada where he worked as a credit analyst for two years before he got his first fund management role with Sanwa International in 1991. In 1993 he joined Lazard as a senior portfolio manager and a year later transferred to GT Asset Management (which later became Invesco Asset Management) where he was head of fixed income before Investec captured his services in 2000. In his role as global head of fixed income at Investec, Griffiths oversees a significant amount of money in a wide range of institutional, offshore and onshore funds and is personally responsible for the Dublin-based Investec SF Global Bond fund and its Guernsey domiciled sister fund.
