About Philip Dicken
Born in Nottingham in 1974, Philip Dicken holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with French from University of Bristol as well as the CFA qualification. Having started his financial services career in Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions with Merrill Lynch in ’97 Philip moved to Active Value in ’99 as a buy-side equity analyst before joining Columbia Threadneedle in 2004, initially as analyst and latterly Fund Manager for the Pan European Smaller companies fund where his investment style is described as “stock picking in pan-European smaller companies” Away from the office Philip’s leisure interest are sports orientated featuring golf and squash.
