Poppy Allonby attended Imperial College of Science and Technology in London, where she obtained a BSc degree in Physics. She currently manages the MLIIF World Energy fund, which has a 'defensive value' style of investment. The fund is not restricted by market capitalisation or geographical constraints, so it can invest in smaller, developing companies that may be overlooked by other investors. The Fund is benchmark aware, but not benchmark-driven, allowing the team to focus on their 'best ideas'.
