About Richard Skelt

A Biochemistry graduate from Oxford University, Richard Skelt joined Fidelity in 1991 with an MBA from the London Business School also under his belt. He started as a technical analyst and within two years was made director of quantitative and technical research. He became a fund manager in 1997 and now oversees more than £1 billion in assets for Fidelity. He is responsible for a variety of funds of funds including the Fidelity Moneybuilder Global fund, the Fidelity Wealthbuilder fund and the Fidelity Portfolio fund. He also runs the Luxembourg-based Fidelity Funds World equity fund. Born in October 1960, Skelt adopts Fidelity's bottom-up investment strategy and is supported by the group's impressive research infrastructure across the globe.
