About Robin Batchelor

Robin Batchelor is now retired from BlackRock where he managed the MLIIF World Energy fund. He described his investment style as ‘defensive value’. He also managed the MLIIF New Energy fund. Robin attended the Colorado State University and Glasgow University where he obtained a BSc degree with honours in Applied Geology in 1995. He later went on to Stirling University where he gained an MSc in Investment Analysis in 1996.
