About Stephen Thornber

Stephen Thornber was born in Southampton in 1961 and graduated from Plymouth Polytechnic where he studied business studies. He started his career in 1986 at Touche Remnant where he was a technology analyst and in 1987 he joined Aberdeen Fund Managers where he was an analyst and fund manager. Stephen joined Kuwait Investment Office in 1989 where he was a fund manager and in 1993 he joined Threadneedle Investments where he is currently a fund manager of global equity funds. Stephen has been managing funds for over 23 years and is a member of UKSIP. Outside of fund management he enjoys golf, skiing, cycling, classic cars and cinema and theatre.
