About Tony Yousefian

Born in 1960 in Iran, Tony Yousefian studied Pure Mathematics, Economics and Computer Studies at various English universities. He began his career as a sales associate at Pioneer Mutual in 1982. In 1984, he formed his own business and was involved in discretionary investment management both on private client portfolios and collective investment schemes. In 1997, Tony joined Smith and Pinching portfolio management and was appointed investment director in November 1999. He is responsible for the management of all portfolios and funds of funds. Yousefian has obtained a Financial Planning Certificate and is a qualified member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute. He lists backgammon, shooting and football among his interests outside of fund management.
