About Vincent Devlin

Born in Northern Ireland in 1970 Vincent Devlin graduated from the University of Manchester in 1992 with a BSc (Hons) in Electronic Engineering. His investment career began two years later when he joined the Co-operative Insurance Society where he spent four years before moving to Insight Investments in 1998 as fund manager of European equities. After a further four year stint Vincent moved to join Scottish Widows where he remained until 2007 reaching the position of investment director and managing European retail unit trusts with a total of €1bn funds under management. Having left SWIP at the end of 2007, Vincent has now moved to BlackRock where he currently manages their Continental European Fund. An associate member of UKSIP, Vincent’s leisure interests focus on the sporting activities of rugby and cycling.
