by Annabelle Williams on Jan 04, 2012 at 11:09
Signia Wealth has appointed former Société Générale Private Banking Hambros CIO Martin O’Hare (pictured) as managing director and head of investment solutions.
O’Hare, a former Wealth Manager cover star, will work to develop the business in tandem with the commercial team, focusing on the management of Signia’s ultra high net worth client portfolios.
He will be based in London reporting in to Signia Wealth founder and chief executive Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe.
Signia Wealth has made a number of hires in recent months, appointing Etienne de Merlis as an executive director and Shalini Khemka as a managing director in October 2011.
O’Hare spent the last seven years at SG Hambros before he quit the firm towards the end of last year. Prior to this he was a senior portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
Dauriac-Stoebe commented: ‘Martin is the latest in a series of key strategic hires designed to enhance the Signia Wealth offering and further meet the demands of our clients and shape the business into a truly bespoke wealth management firm. Watch this space for more exciting news to follow.’
