Neill Nuttall brings curtain down on 30-year JPM career

Neill Nuttall is to leave JP Morgan Asset Management after 30 years at the group in order to pursue other opportunities.

Nuttall is currently co-manager of the £90 million JP Morgan Income & Growth Investment Trust , and formerly served as head of the firm’s global multi-asset group.

Nuttall’s responsibilities on the trust will be handed to James Elliot and Katy Thorneycroft, respectively the chief investment officer of JP Morgan’s Asset Management Solutions team in Europe and Asia and a senior manager within that team.

The trust’s other co-managers, Citywire A-rated Sarah Emly and AA-rated John Baker, will retain responsibility for the portfolio’s UK equities component.

JPMorgan Income & Growth has returned 53% over the past year, compared with an average of 26.8% from its AIC UK Equity Income sector.
