Adam & Co executive director exits

Adam & Co executive director Anna Wilson (pictured) has left the Scottish private bank to take some time out from the investment industry to spend time with her family before returning in the New Year.

Whilst at Adam & Co, Wilson (née Croze) was manager of the Stewart Ivory Investment Markets and Adam Worldwide funds.

The Stewart Ivory Investment Markets fund, which she managed alongside Mark Ivory, returned 35.1% over the last three years to the end of September, beating the average total return fund which returned 24.8% over the same time frame.

Wealth Manager understands that as of yet there is no direct replacement for Wilson and that her role is likely to be split between the Adam & Co investment team.

Before joining Adam & Co in February 2011, Wilson worked as an analyst at Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

Prior to that, she held the role of head of research and strategy for Old Mutual in Kenya and worked as a portfolio manager at Henderson Global Investors for six years.

Adam & Co declined to comment on Wilson’s departure.
