Adam & Co hires wealth director from Barclays

Samuel Fay has joined Adam & Company from Barclays Wealth.

Fay will become private wealth director, and will be based in the London office of the Royal Bank of Scotland owned private bank.

He was previously a vice-president at Barclays Wealth, where he had worked for almost 11 years and focused on senior international financial markets professionals.

Fay joined Barclays when it acquired Gerrard Investment Manager in 2003, and earlier in his career worked at firms including Aegon and Berkeley International.

‘I am delighted to welcome Sam to the team,’ said Kerry Falconer, banking managing director at Adam & Company. ‘He brings a breadth of financial services experience which will be a great asset to the business.’

Falconer (pictured) added that he business intended to expand the team further in the months ahead.
