Arbuthnot Latham has appointed Colin MacKenzie from Seven Investment Management as a director of investment management.
MacKenzie's appointment is alongside four other senior hires for the private bank.
The others appointments are Andy Rushmer for the newly created role of head of information and cyber security; Nick Bailey as managing director, business development; Nick Ellis-Calcott as business transformation director and Dean Moore as head of wealth planning.
MacKenzie was previously a relationship manager at 7IM and before that held a number of positions at Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse Private Banking and Coutts.
At Coutts he served as executive director and joint head of tailored portfolio services.
He will be based in Arbuthnot's London office.
Chief executive Ian Henderson (pictured) commented: 'Colin MacKenzie’s appointment further strengthens our Investment Management offering and he is a valuable addition to our dedicated team. These appointments are testament to our solid growth strategy.'
Moore previously also worked at Coutts, where he served as executive director in its private office.
Rushmer and Ellis-Calcott join from Shawbrook Bank where they were head of IT and chief technology director respectively. Bailey joins from RBS, where most recently he worked on a number of strategic transformation projects at its Irish subsidiary Ulster Bank.
