Barclays opens an office in Southampton

Barclays Wealth and Investment Management is opening an office in Southampton.

The branch will provide banking, investment and wealth advisory services to private clients and represents and expansion of its presence in Hampshire, where it has an established Bournemouth office.

Robert Jones, regional director for Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in Hampshire, said: ‘We are delighted to open a new office in Southampton, working with our colleagues in corporate banking to bring together our best thinking, local knowledge, advice and solutions to local business owners, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals.

‘The decision to base a Wealth and Investment Management team alongside the corporate banking team here is an important one, as it provides an integrated approach for our clients and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the local economy and wealth in the region.’
