Barclays Wealth strategy boss quits for management consultancy

Ruth Davis has left her role at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management to join Anchura Partners, a management consultancy.

Davis was head of strategy and proposition at Barclays Wealth, as well as serving as chief of staff to the firm’s head of wealth and investment management for UK and Europe.

Anchura has also hired Rash Phullar, formerly global equities chief operating officer and head of strategy implementation at RBS Markets.

Both Davis and Phullar have been appointed as client partners at Anchura.

‘Ruth and Rash will be key to our continued expansion across the breadth of financial services in which Anchura operates, and ensuring that we continue to provide new and existing clients with the expert practitioners and solutions for which we are renowned,’ said Anchura managing partner said Paul Ford.

‘We have undergone continual growth in the UK and on an international scale and it is vital that we continue to invest in a strong leadership team to drive our ambitions.’
