Brewin Dolphin's south west assets hit £1bn

Client assets managed by Brewin Dolphin in the south west have climbed above £1 billion in the last month following what the business described as ‘10 years of continuous growth’ in the region.

Over the period the company’s complement of staff in the region has climbed from an eight-strong team in Exeter to three regional offices employing 37.

In addition to its team in Plymouth, the company reopened its Cornish outpost in Truro in May this year, three years after its office in the county was merged into the Devon branches.

In its most recent update, the company reported £39.2 billion in total client assets across the UK.

The company recently consolidated its regional offices under the management of local head Tim Walker, based in Exeter.

He said: ‘Reaching the billion-pound milestone is a huge achievement for the whole team and I would like to thank our loyal clients and fellow professionals who have all been incredibly supportive.

‘Technology enables us to work as one team across three sites - combining all the benefits of experience, scale and shared expertise with a truly local personal service. The scale of resource we can offer is used on improving the service we provide and I’m very proud of the growth achieved.’
