Budget 2014: Gov't unveils 'super ISA' with £15k limit

The government is creating a new ISA with a limit of £15,000.

The government has announced it will create a ‘super ISA’ by increasing the savings limit to £15,000 and allowing all of it to be held as cash, effectively tripling the cash ISA limit .

ISAs have a savings limit of £11,520 over the tax year of which up to £5,760 can be held in cash.

The Junior ISA limit will be increased to £4,000.
