Cazenove Capital has named Mary-Anne Daly as chief executive in the UK.
She replaces Andrew Ross, who took on the role of global head of wealth management for Schroders earlier this year.
Daly, a former Wealth Manager cover star, had been serving as head of UK wealth management. She has been with Cazenove since 2001, remaining with the company also following its acquisition by Schroders in 2013.
She joined the business from Baring Asset Management where she served as head of private client service.
Ross, who was promoted to his new role in May, also joined Cazenove in 2001. He was previously chief executive of HSBC Asset Management (Europe) from 1998 onwards.
When the duo joined Cazenove, it has £10 billion in assets under management (AUM). As at 31 March, the wealth management division of Schroders has £43.2 billion in AUM.
Ross commented: 'During this time we have seen significant change, in particular the coming together of Schroders and Cazenove Capital’s wealth businesses and the successful integration of C Hoare & Co.’s wealth management team. I am confident that our UK business will continue to thrive under Mary-Anne’s leadership.'
Daly (pictured) added: 'It is a privilege to have been part of Cazenove Capital’s success to date and to be entrusted to lead the UK business going forward.
'We have a truly unique business and I am delighted to take the company through to its next stage of development. Our clients have always been at the centre of everything we do, and as we continue to grow this will be critical to our ongoing success.'
