Charles Stanley's Cardiff office opens it doors

Charles Stanley's Cardiff office opened for business today, becoming the national wealth manager's 34th branch.

The company hired a team from Barclays Wealth at the end of last year and the new office will be headed by Andrew Stansfield. He will be supported on the investment side by Gail de'Claire and Richard Disley alongside Gary Power who is head of charity development.

Stansfield said: 'Both myself and the team have been very impressed with what we have seen so far and going forward we can see enormous synergies and investment possibilities that are in our clients’ interests. We all feel certain that Charles Stanley will allow us the scope to offer an improved, bespoke service across our client demographics and we are all looking forward to new offices and a new beginning.'

Charles Stanley's head of branch development Gary Teper (pictured) said: 'We have been looking for the right team in Wales for a number of years now and we knew that as soon as we met the team, that we had found the right cultural and business fit. I have high hopes for the Cardiff office and I wish them all well in settling into Charles Stanley.'
