Double director departure at Cornelian

Double director departure at Cornelian

Cornelian Asset Managers has lost two directors, Wealth Manager can reveal.

Bill Bulloch, an associate director who sits on the investment team, and Dougie Robb, director of finance, compliance and operations, are both moving on from the firm.

Chief investment officer Hector Kilpatrick (pictured) said Bulloch’s responsibilities, which include UK equity, selective fund research and asset allocation input, will be spread across the team in the interim.

‘He has been with us for five and a half years and has made a positive contribution to the business and I would like to record our thanks to him for that,’ he added.

Bulloch, who is working his notice period, has been at Cornelian since July 2008. He formerly worked at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, where he developed the firm’s ‘liability driven’ investment capabilities.

Robb, who has now left Cornelian, was responsible for the operational aspects of the business including risk, technology and finance.

His financial functions will be taken on by John Jackson, managing director of the intermediary business, while compliance responsibilities will fall to chief executive Jeremy Richardson.

Robb joined Cornelian in 2012 from Lloyds Banking Group.

Richardson told Wealth Manager: ‘It’s all relatively straightforward and Dougie leaves with our best wishes and thanks for his time with us.’
