Amundi’s former head of global equities and thematic funds, Paul-Georges Moucan, has joined a London-based investment boutique called Quadra Capital, Citywire Global has learned.
Moucan joined the Mayfair-based company earlier this year but it was not communicated at the time.
In his new capacity, Moucan serves as a senior portfolio manager and has responsibility for a global equity long/short portfolio.
Moucan left Amundi in October 2013 after almost a decade with the Paris-based group, which saw him work as head of consumer funds in Paris before becoming head global equities – thematic funds in January 2005.
It is understood Moucan took one year out from fund management to assume an advisory role before formally joining Quadra Capital in March.
Quadra Capital was set up in 2013 with Guillaume Touze, formerly a managing director within the premier investments and insurance business at Barclays Bank, serving as a founding partner and chief executive officer.
