David Croft has retired from his role as director of research at Fidelity after seven years at the firm.
Croft joined Fidelity in 2007 from JP Morgan Cazenove. Although he has retired from full-time work, Croft will continue to support the training of new analyst recruits at Fidelity on a part-time basis.
Fidelity confirmed that Croft would be replaced, but until then his responsibilities have been shared among the broader research team.
Each of Fidelity’s fund managers is supported by a dedicated team of investment analysts who cover specific sectors and markets, with the analysts responsible for maintaining investment recommendations based on their fundamental, proprietary research.
