Fixed income trio to exit Invesco

Fixed income trio to exit Invesco

Wealth Manager understands that three senior fixed income managers are to leave Invesco.

The individuals, all based on London, are Stuart Campbell, Phillip Ridge and Lindsay Missen from the Invesco fixed income team.

Campbell is a senior portfolio manager and head of bond trading at Invesco, where he has worked since 2001. He has also served at Invesco as a manager on global credit and total return portfolios, having begun at the firm as a credit analyst focused on the European consumer and utility sectors.

Ridge is a portfolio manager specialising in money market funds and cash mandates, and he too has experience as a currency trader. He joined Invesco as an analyst in 2008 from Goldman Sachs.

Missen is a fixed income portfolio manager with a focus on global investment grade bonds, and joined Invesco in 1994.

A spokesperson for Invesco told Wealth Manager: ‘Over the past 18 months, Invesco Fixed Income has added more than 30 investment and business professionals globally as part of its efforts to build a leading fixed income organisation providing a comprehensive range of quality investment solutions to our clients.

‘The additional investment in the business, along with a move to a global organisation, has allowed us to consider the best alignment of our capabilities and activities to meet client needs.

‘Our practice is to not comment on any specific individual, but we are very confident that our investment in the business, our additional talent, and enhanced processes significantly expand our capabilities and delivery to clients.’

Campbell, Ridge and Missen could not be reached for comment.

Wealth Manager understands that the departures are not connected to Neil Woodford’s new venture.
