Former Brewin director Soar joins JM Finn

Former Brewin director Soar joins JM Finn

Former Brewin Dolphin director Sarah Soar has joined JM Finn in the newly created role of head of front office.

Soar stepped down from Brewin's board in March following the reshuffle that followed executive chairman Jamie Matheson's departure at the same time.

At JM Finn she will be tasked with improving the business's efficiency and corporate governance, and its client service proposition. She will report into the company's chairman James Edgedale (pictured), who said: 'Her experience within the industry will be invaluable to us as we look at ways to improve the service levels we give to our clients.

'Enhancing our governance and in-house processes will help us continue moving the business forward whilst keeping our clients at the centre of our attention, particularly whilst we are, like our peers, so focused on regulation.'

Soar, who joins the company on January 13, also sits on the council of the Institute of Directors.
