Former Cornelian director to join Lloyds funds team

Former Cornelian director to join Lloyds funds team

Lloyds has hired former Cornelian director Bill Bulloch as a senior manager in its fund assessment team, Wealth Manager can reveal.

Bulloch will work alongside Jonathan ‘JB’ Beckett (pictured) and effectively replaces Jake Moeller, who left Lloyds last October to join Lipper as head of UK & Ireland research. Both Beckett and Moeller are former Wealth Manager cover stars.

For Bulloch, the move is something of a homecoming. He previously worked within the wider Lloyds Banking Group as development director of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership’s (Swip) fixed income range between 2006 and 2008.

During that time, he was responsible for the design and development of Swip’s pooled and segregated liability driven investment capabilities.

Wealth Manager reported earlier this month that Bulloch had left Cornelian Asset Managers, where he was an associate director and a member of its investment team.

Prior to Swip, Bulloch was deputy head of asset allocation and global strategy at Abbey National Asset Managers. He started out as a UK equity fund manager at the company.

Lloyds declined to comment.
