Former F&C chief Alain Grisay passes away

Former F&C chief executive Alain Grisay has passed away.

According to electrical retailer Darty, where Grisay (pictured) served as a non-executive director, he died suddenly over the weekend.

Darty chair Alan Parker said: 'The whole board are very saddened to hear this news and all our thoughts are with his family.'

Grisay, 59, spent six years as chief executive during a 10-year period with F&C, which ended in 2012.

A spokesperson for F&C said: 'We were very sorry to hear the sad news that Alain Grisay has passed away. Alain was a visionary executive and business leader.

'Alain will be sadly missed by all of us who had the privilege of both knowing him and of working together. Our sympathies are with Alain's family.'
