Fund analyst Haugaard leaves Quilter Cheviot for Brewin Dolphin

Anna Haugaard has left the research team at Quilter Cheviot in London after five years to join Brewin Dolphin.

Haugaard (pictured) originally joined Quilter Cheviot in 2009, and specialised in funds in the European and specialist sectors.

At Brewin Dolphin, she will cover UK and European funds.

Haugaard was also a member of Quilter Cheviot’s investment funds selection committee, and completed her Certificate in Investment Management in 2010 and passed Level 2 of the CFA programme in 2013.

Quilter Cheviot’s research team is overseen by Ben Mountain, who is also co-head of the company’s managed portfolio service. This passed £1 billion in assets in June, representing growth of 7.8% this year, and has expanded from three investment strategies at launch in 2001 to eight at present.

Also in June Camilla Carson, a star of Wealth Manager’s Top 30 under 30, quit Quilter Cheviot to join parental network Mumsnet as a special projects executive.

Carson sat on the alternative investment committee at the firm, managed private client portfolios, trusts and charities there, and was involved too in the Cheviot Climate Assets and Libero Balanced funds.
