Gemma Game to exit AXA Investment Managers

AXA Investment Managers head of healthcare Gemma Game is to exit the firm.  

Game (pictured), who has been with the firm for seven years, had managed the AXA Framlington Health fund since July 2011. She is understood to be leaving to take up a post with another firm in the industry.  

A spokesperson for AXA Investment Managers said: 'We can confirm that Gemma Game has decided to leave AXA IM in order to pursue a new opportunity. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gemma for all her contributions to AXA Framlington over the last seven years.' 

AXA has started the process to find a replacement.

According Lipper, the fund returned 55.4% in the three years to 30 June versus a 52.6% rise in the MSCI World Health Care index.
