Hargreaves’s Meera Hearnden returns with Parmenion role

Hargreaves’s Meera Hearnden returns with Parmenion role

Meera Hearnden, a former senior analyst who exited Hargreaves Lansdown after a 15 year career at Hargreaves in the fund research department has returned to the industry with a job at Parmenion Investment Management (PIM).

In the team head by Mark Dampier, Hearnden (formerly Patel), conducted fund research for the platform's discounted Wealth 150 list of 27 core offerings, which was revealed in March, two months after she announced her departure.

Hearnden, who left Hargreaves to spend more time with her family, is joining on a part-time basis.

In her new role as a senior investment manager for the Bristol-based platform business, Hearnden (pictured) will report directly to Peter Dalgliesh, managing director at PIM.

Dalgliesh said, ‘Meera’s appointment adds further strength to our fund research team and our focus on investment risk. She has an exemplary reputation among both advisers and fund providers.’

The platform-based discretionary fund management services to around 900 adviser firms, and just over 2,500 individual advisers, and has assets under management of just over £1 billion.
