Henderson promotes duo to Pattullo & Barnard bond funds

Henderson Global Investors has promoted two managers within its fixed income range.

Nicholas Ware has become co-manager of the Henderson Fixed Interest Monthly Income fund, on which he was previously deputy manager.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Morris-Charles has been made deputy manager of the Henderson Preference and Bond fund.

They will run the funds alongside current managers John Pattullo and  Jenna Barnard (pictured).

Ware, who joined the retail fixed income team in 2012, will focus on industrial high yield stock selection. Morris-Charles joined Henderson in 2009 via the graduate scheme and will be responsible for general portfolio duties and industrial high yield stock selection.

'It is important to nurture up and coming talent. Given Nicholas and Rebecca’s extensive knowledge of credit these are well-deserved and logical promotions.

'Both have previously been involved in key investment decisions and made a material contribution to client performance,' John Pattullo, head of retail fixed income said.
