Invesco Perpetual boosts Barnett’s team with broker hire

Invesco Perpetual boosts Barnett’s team with broker hire

Invesco Perpetual has bolstered Mark Barnett’s UK equities team with the hire of Frederick Bouverat from Numis.

Bouverat was associate director for equity sales at Numis, where he had worked since 2009.

At Invesco Perpetual, Bouverat will be based in Henley-on-Thames and work as an investment analyst on the UK equities desk, headed by Citywire AAA-rated Barnett (pictured), who has now taken over managing Invesco Perpetual's High Income and Income funds.

Wealth Manager understands that Bouverat will have specific responsibility for unquoted investments.

The appointment follows that of Tom Tuite Dalton, revealed last week by Wealth Manager, who joins Invesco Perpetual as a product manager after more than two decades as an investment trust analyst, including five and a half at Oriel.
