Invesco Perpetual hires Rothchild’s Clinch

Invesco Perpetual has hired Simon Clinch as manager of its US Equity fund, reporting to Simon Laing, head of US Equities.

Clinch, who has over 10 years’ experience in the industry, joins the firm from J Rothschild Capital Management, where he was investment manager.

Nick Mustoe, chief investment officer at Invesco Perpetual, said:  ‘Simon’s appointment will enable us to develop further both our global and US equity franchises.’

Laing joined Invesco in November, having previously worked at Newton where he was director of investment management for North American equities.

Invesco also recently launched a range of risk-graded multi-asset funds.
