Invesco Perpetual restructures sales team for wealth push

Invesco Perpetual has restructured its UK Retail Sales team,and created a financial institutions group to develop relationships with discretionary asset managers, retail and private banks, wealth managers, family offices and advisers.

Head of financial institutions, Jason Evans will lead the new division, while head of regional sales, Chris Lyes and team will look to extend Invesco Perpetual’s coverage and communication with advisers. 

The two will work alongside Chris Donnelly, head of life companies and James Rawson, head of platform distribution.

The UK retail sales team has been expanded by the hire of Gavin Ward as a sales manager, London Wealth and Family Offices, who will join from Standard Life Investments in October,will take responsibility for Invesco Perpetual’s London-based wealth manager and family office clients.

Meanwhile, Tristan Murphy joins a regional sales manager, North West, from Threadneedle later this month.

'These changes position Invesco Perpetual for continued success across a market landscape that is being reshaped by regulation and competition,' Ian Trevers (pictured), head of UK retail at Invesco Perpetual, said.
