Janus Henderson has hired Tom O’Hara and Tom Lemaigre as analysts in its European equities team.
O’Hara joins from Exane BNP Paribas where he was vice president responsible for analysing the metals, mining and steel sector. He has over 10 years’ experience working in financial markets, including positions at Redburn and Citigroup.
Lemaigre joins from RWC Partners, where he was an investment analyst responsible for fundamental bottom-up research of pan-European equities, specifically consumer sectors. Prior to this he worked at Redburn.
They will report to John Bennett, head of European equities, and will provide analyst support across the funds he managers as well as those managed by the wider team.
Bennett said: 'Tom O’Hara and Tom Lemaigre are outstanding analysts and bring clear complementary skills to the European equities team.
'With stock selection at the core of what we do, their proven talent in idea generation will greatly enhance our European equities franchise.'
The company has consistently added resources to Bennett's team recently, hiring Andrew McCarthy from the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) last month as a co-manager on John Bennett's long-only European equity funds.
