Jeremy Lang's top stock picks for anxious times

Ardevora UK Income manager Jeremy Lang continues to spot opportunities in areas of the market that can cause some investors anxiety.

The Citywire AA-rated manager cites UK housebuilders as one such example.

Lang goes on to explain why he and co-manager William Pattisson are employing a growth tilt, which has led them to stocks like easyJet.

However, he is less enthusiastic about pharmas and miners, where he sees a number of risks.

Side-stepping these areas has helped to drive returns, which amounted to 57.4% over the past three years versus 32.2% by the FTSE 350 High Yield index, according to Lipper. The fund yields around 3.4%.
