Jonathanfry boosts team with Kleinwort and Morgan Stanley hires

Wealth manager jonathanfry plc is looking to grow its discretionary business with the appointment of two senior private wealth directors from Kleinwort Benson and Morgan Stanley.

Robbie Meakin joins from Kleinwort Benson, where he was head of strategic wealth advisory, while Adam Ross previously headed a team at Morgan Stanley that ran advisory and discretionary mandates for ultra-high net worth clients.

Jonathanfry chief executive David Carr described the hires as ‘important’ and said the pair will work to forge ahead with growth in the business, which has £350 million in assets under management.

‘These two important hires demonstrate our ability to attract experienced and highly qualified investment professionals with highly regarded private bank backgrounds,’ Carr said.

‘Adam and Robbie will focus on the growth of the business using the well-defined business model developed by the firm over the past couple of years. They are particularly excited by the ability of our cash management service, Dynamic Cash Management, and our discretionary investment management service, the Personal Managed Portfolio, to attract and retain clients.’
