JP Morgan Private Bank hires Waverton's Novis as exec director

JP Morgan Private Bank hired Edward Novis from Waverton Investment Management as an executive director and senior investor within its endowments and foundations group.

Novis will advise endowments, charities and foundation clients on investment options and market strategy. based in London, he will report to Kristoffer Jonsson, head of the endowments and foundations group for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Jonsson said: ‘We have seen strong growth in our charities, foundations and endowment’s investment management group in the UK and in Europe, and as we continue to grow in the sector, Edward’s appointment will allow us to further enhance our offering for charitable and educational institutions in the UK.’

Novis was a portfolio manager at Waverton, running European equities and multi-asset charities mandates. Prior to that he was a portfolio manager at Marble Bar Asset Management after previously serving as an executive director at Morgan Stanley, focusing on pan-European equity sales.
