JP Morgan Asset Management (JPM) has made five appointments to its UK sales team following a series of recent exits.
The appointments, a combination of internal promotions and external hires, fill gaps left in its UK sales team following a number of departures in the first quarter.
James Burdis has been apointed client adviser in the strategic relationships group and will report into Tim Mitchell, UK head of strategic relationships at JPM.
He started his career at JPM in 2007 in London and will be relocating from Hong Kong where he currently based.
He will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with key strategic clients including national discretionary fund managers, private banks, family offices and multi-managers.
James Wring has been appointed regional sales manager for South West England, having formerly been regional sales manager at Jupiter.
He will report to Dale Erdei, head of UK intermediary sales at JPMAM, and will be based in Bristol, with responsibility for developing and advancing relationships with IFAs across the region.
Jordan Mildwater, Liam MacDonald-Raggett and Harry Boys have been appointed sales executives and will support JPMAM’s regional intermediary sales managers.
Mildwater joins from Columbia Threadneedle, MacDonald-Raggett joins from JPMorgan’s corporate and investment bank and Boys joins from JPMAM’s UK funds marketing team.
They will be based in London and report into Nicola Hayden, head of sales executives at JPMAM.

The appointments come after five UK sales team members exited the firm earlier this year.
The departures include Nick Webb, manager for UK platforms, Andrea Hohlachoff, head of insurance and platforms, Nick Keem head of UK wealth manager sales, and fund sales executives Rosanna Holt and Chris Grant.
